Flowers in Winter

Presently I am working on a series of paintings inspired by the dark comedy Flowers (written and directed by Will Sharpe) which explores and presents mental health in both serious and humorous ways, and a triptych inspired by, and using pages from an old copy of, James Joyce's literary masterpiece Ulysses.

As someone with a long history of mental health issues (ADHD, Bipolar Type II) creative work is an important and valuable outlet. I am currently editing a story which involved writing 500 words every day for a year.
