The Artyverse is the fictional universe I have been developing through my artwork since I was a child, which consists of ethereally glamourous aliens with a deep running Sci-Fi mythology told through each piece. This was my way of escaping the reality of growing up as a queer individual.

I wanted to create a safe space for other people with this collection so I thought about where I, and many other queer people, have felt the most alienated growing up and that would be in sports.

This led me to transforming sportswear through the hyper feminine, flamboyant and futuristic lens that is the Artyverse, turning something that previously had a negative connotation to queer people into something positive, making peace with an inner child who felt alienated.
