Totalling a mammoth forty-seven hours to make, this hand drawn and hand coloured piece is a self portrait exploring the ways in which OCD and anxiety take over my mind and body. I often feel like am made of worries and so this piece stands at exactly 4 foot 11 - my precise measurements. It is a piece that acts as a self portrait but without anything figurative involved, a concept that I love when it comes to self portraiture.

I see all of my works as self portraits, whether my work includes my body or not. As for the 47 hours, as mentioned before I love to use techniques and media that take an enormous amount of time to complete because it mimics the repetitive and laborious nature of OCD so well.
