Rockystar SS25

Through Blush Tinted Glasses

A celebrity favourite for the LFW calendar, Indian designer Rockystar unveiled a breathtaking painting of Spring/Summer 25 that epitomizes the luxury couture at the foundations of the house, crafted with the expertise of skilled artisans and the captivating beauty of the roses amongst the thornbush. This season, Blush Éclat: A Symphony of Florals showcases a flirty amalgamation of historical elegance and modern glamour, dazzling guests with shimmering sequins and gentle tailoring, retaining the romantic silhouettes Rockystar is famed for. Dense hot pink panels of sequins marry floor-length gowns, whispering with ethereal sheer mini dresses and petticoat ruffles. A sophisticated orchestra of design through blush tinted glasses, as the deep enlightenment of Nat King Cole’s ‘L-O-V-E’ radiates around the venue.

Radiating idyllic stature, print-on-print florals seduce tiered skirts and jackets, whilst celestial ornamentation waltzes playfully with the runway lights. Accents of midnight black juxtapose the blush pinks, rich and deep like Flemish artwork, with ivory and bright magentas adding to the lush tapestry of colour. Voluminous mutton sleeves echo royal status, of Elizabethan grandeur and feminine opulence that Rockystar defines as the ‘poetry of spring’. Delicate ballroom romances of soft petals and delicate drapes, kissed gently by whimsical frills and beading sparkling like constellations against the exquisite walls of St John’s Church. Blush Éclat conjures dreams of brides and belles, fresh-faced with subtle ballet slipper pink lips, personifying the early stage of infatuations. Organza ribbon accents, with lace-up socks and Mary Janes, Rockystar’s Symphony is a masterclass in writing love letters to an image of grace growing up into the alluring modern romantic.
