Vanessa Walters

Vanessa Walters (b. 1994, Malta and raised in UK) is a photographic artist and writer. Through close observation of her everyday life, Walters works in analogue photography, poetry, and essay, to expose and reflect on personal and intimate narratives. Recent work includes publications Now I Know, Daylight (Pilot Press, 2021) and her debut poetry pamphlet Notes for a romcom (Love poems to a normal world) (Halfly Press, 2021). Her work has also been shown with F(r)ictions, Deptford X Fringe Festival, and forthcoming at Art House Wakefield in 2023. Performances of her writing include Hundred Years Gallery and Goldsmiths CCA. She has studied MFA Fine Art (Goldsmiths, 2022) and BA Fine Art (Chelsea College of Arts, 2016).
